In the context of social harmony..
If it benefits you and benefits them: Do it.
If it does not benefit them and does not benefit you: Don't do it.
If it benefits them, and does not benefit you: (Think about it) most likely do it.
If it benefits you, and does not benefit them: Don't do it.

These four tenets form a compass for wise action, simple yet profound. They teach that true decision-making is not about advantage but about harmony. When both sides gain, action is righteous. When neither gains, it is waste. When others gain and we do not, it becomes a test of generosity and wisdom, a reminder that service often plants unseen seeds. When only we gain at another’s expense, it stains the heart and breeds imbalance. In essence, these principles remind us that right action is measured not by profit but by balance, benefit, and integrity of intent.
