Fitness Training With Silat

I am now a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). This certification reflects my commitment to professional standards in fitness training, exercise programming, and client safety. Through NASM’s evidence-based approach, I am trained to assess movement, design structured training programs, and guide individuals toward improved strength, mobility, and overall health. As a NASM Personal Trainer, I aim to help clients build sustainable fitness habits while reducing the risk of injury and supporting long-term physical well-being.

Silat and fitness intersect because both develop strength, mobility, balance, and body awareness through purposeful movement. The techniques found in Silat such as low stances, stepping patterns, controlled breathing, and rotational strikes train the body in a way that builds functional strength and endurance. When these traditional movements are understood alongside modern training principles taught by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, they can enhance cardiovascular health, joint stability, coordination, and overall physical conditioning. In this way, the practice of Silat becomes not only a martial discipline but also a holistic method for developing a strong, agile, and resilient body.
